We opened more than 120 luxury brand goods buying stores in Japan under our concept that life without reuse is a waste.
Our purchase business is not simply about putting a price on things that
our customers no longer use or need. We listen to the memories and stories behind
the goods we buy,
discerning the essential value before creating transactions that satisfy our
customers.
From buy-and-use to sell-and-connect, we help customers make new investments in
themselves,
nurturing a spiritual richness unique to each person.
We strive to create spaces for just such opportunities.
Valuence deploys an educational team to refine the connoisseurship of our value designers who conduct in-store, by-mail, on-site, and online appraisals. This team consists of watch technicians with over 30 years of experience, Graduate Gemologist-certified employees (the world's most prestigious jewelry certification), and estate sales specialists and other employees that specialize in each genre and brand of bags, luxury watches, jewelry, antiques, and art. We train each value designer in a variety of areas from product knowledge and appraisal skills to customer service etiquette. Only those who pass rigorous company tests are dispatched to our stores.
More than providing valuations for goods, we have focused on learning the stories behind the emotional attachments between customers and their valued possessions. We listen. We strive to understand the emotions of our customers so they have confidence in selling to us. So they want to see us again and come to us when they have questions in the days, months, and years following their interaction in the office. This approach to customer service is true not only in our buying offices, but also for staff working in our customer support center.
Every Valuence buying office looks more like a salon than a reuse business. Nanboya locations present clean spaces inviting to any customer who might want to drop by while out on other errands during the day. Hakkoudo locations offer a quiet atmosphere and comfortable temperatures to encourage calm, considered interactions with customers. We are also concerned with customer privacy. To this end, we provide private booths that foster a relaxed feeling.
We have more than 140 stores nationwide, including Nanboya stores, to service more people in our communities. All of our stores are located within walking distance of the nearest train station to ensure the utmost convenience of our customers. Customers can eliminate long waits with reservations as short as two minutes.Purchase methods include by-mail, on-site purchases, and online purchases, creating a system for busy and distant customers to use.
