Launch of ALLU Global Online Store and Global Sales!​

The Valuence Group offers life-changing value tailored to all stakeholders, encouraging every person in the world to live true to yourself. Valuence Group Company Valuence Japan, Inc. (Tokyo; Susumu Muguruma, representative director and president) today announced the opening of its own cross-border ALLU Global Online Store on October 1, 2020. ALLU is a used and vintage goods shop owned and operated by Valuence Japan.

Strengthening Overseas Sales for ALLU Products and​ Making ALLU a Globally Recognized Brand

The global secondhand luxury brand goods market is expected to grow at an annual rate of 12.1% between 2018 and 2021. Experts also estimate that 80% of people who purchase secondhand luxury brand goods will do so online*. Given these trends, global demand for online sales of secondhand luxury brand goods is likely to grow significantly in the future.
ALLU has seen a two-fold increase in visits from overseas locations since 2019 and Valuence Japan has endeavored to deepen communications with overseas customers through product listings on other shopping sites and social media. At the same time, some customers have expressed the desire for an easier purchase process. In response, Valuence Japan launched the cross-border ALLU Global Online Store.
By strengthening and expanding overseas sales of its own products, ALLU aims to gain insights from customers around the world, provide optimal value to each customer, and establish a world-class business brand.

E-Commerce Sales Nearly Double in One Year

Since opening its online store in 2018, ALLU has expanded sales through Japanese and overseas online stores to extend sales channels. Over the course of a single year, ALLU has grown online sales through all channels by nearly 200%, coordinating inventory to list across multiple channels simultaneously, pursuing omnichannel activities, and communicating in a friendly manner with customers. ALLU aims to achieve further growth by operating its own cross-border e-commerce site to develop a base of expertise in overseas sales and using data collected through operations for global marketing.

As has been the case in Japan, the ALLU Global Online Store will offer a wide range of products, including secondhand goods from discontinued street brands and rare vintage high fashion brand items. All products listed from the site will be purchased from Valuence Group company Nanboya, which boasts more than 70 buying offices in Japan and overseas and growing operations.
A specialized team within ALLU will inspect and perform maintenance on products to ensure high quality and peace of mind.
