Valuence to Accept Secondment from Ohshu Express Beginning in May​

(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Shinsuke Sakimoto) has announced that it will begin accepting secondment, with mediation from the Industrial Employment Stabilization Center of Japan, on May 1, 2021 from Ohshu Express Limited (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hideki Furukawa), a general wholesaler specialized in overseas travel and dealing in travel packages on a global scale.​

Achieving a Dual Purpose: Maintaining Travel Agency Employment and Supplementing Valuence Group Personnel​​​​

​The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected stagnating demand in the travel industry as consumers stay home to prevent infection, particularly as this behavior continues. This has naturally led to an ongoing, harsh situation for both companies and their employees. Under these circumstances, the Valuence Group has decided to accept the secondment of employees from Ohshu Express Limited with mediation from the Industrial Employment Stabilization Center, where they will work for a given period until demand recovers in the travel industry. Valuence plans to accept 16 employees in May, who are to work primarily in customer service operations at Valuence Japan, a core business.​

By accepting a secondment from Ohshu Express, a company providing top levels of customer service, we will help maintain employment levels amid the COVID-19 pandemic and aid in providing opportunities for employees of both organizations to learn and grow.​
