Valuence Japan Inc. (Tokyo; Shinsuke Sakimoto, representative director and president) announced the 5th ALLU AUCTION (July 21, 2024) for general consumers, mainly dealing in rare and valuable timepieces.
Membership up 70% from previous auctions while inbound demand rises due to the weak yen
Leveraging Valuence Group expertise in auction management, Valuence has launched a luxury timepiece auction house for the general public, ALLU AUCTION. The 5th ALLU AUCTION will offer numerous rare items, including luxury brand goods, watches, and Rolexes. These auction items were purchased at Nanboya and BRAND CONCIER, which have won the highest annual purchase price in Japan for three consecutive years*1 *2, as well as ALLU overseas. Buyers will also have the chance to receive aftercare service through ALLU WATCH REPAIR, a watch repair service in which skilled watch technicians and repairers offer services at top-level repair facilities in Japan. This service allows the auction to offer products with high quality maintenance.
At the 4th Auction, Valuence recorded a new record high-bid of 59 million yen, an increase of more than 10 million yen than the previous record. Members increased by 70% compared to the 3rd Auction, with nearly double the number of individual members. This result was mainly due to participation of ALLU pre-owned brand shop customers in the ALLU AUCTION. Moreover, the auction venue was brimming with excitement as many inbound customers attended and won bids in person. Valuence expects the number of overseas customer to increase further at the 5th Auction due to the ongoing depreciation of the yen.
